Back to PHOTO GALLERIESCST railway station on the full moon day, Mumbai, India
It was unplanned visit to Fort in Mumbai. We were out for a photo walk and full moon day made our day.
CST (formerly Victoria Terminus) The building, designed by the British architect F. W. Stevens, became the symbol of Bombay (now Mumbai) as the ‘Gothic City’. It is an outstanding example of the meeting of two cultures, as British architects worked with Indian craftsmen to include Indian architectural tradition and idioms thus forging a new style. And now this structure has been inscribed on the World Heritage List.
