International kite flying event in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Every year, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti the International Kite Flying Festival is organised on the banks of river Sabarmati in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat. Kite flyers from many countries participate in this event.
