The main attraction of Manikaran are the hot water springs considered to be medicinal. Every hotel in Manikaran boasts of direct water supply from these hot springs. Manikaran also has a temple and a gurudwara and in 80 km east of Manali in the Parvati valley of Himachal Pradesh.

Goving Dev ji Temple, Jaipur, India
The temple affords unobstructed view of the idols to the thousands of devotees who gather for prayers. This means there are no pillars in between. The construction was an architectural challenge. Saw this girl entering her house, while walking around in the Lolab valley in Kashmir. When I took the camera out to take her picture, she stopped and posed. This is actually a pretty rare sight in Kashmir: A female with the head not covered!

The entire village came to visit us. Along with the staff they were all eager to cater to our needs. The kids wanted to play with us (and the camera!). The women particularly told us to let them know if we needed anything!
